The Council of the Association of Meat Inspectors has taken the decision to hold this years Annual General Meeting online via Microsoft Teams.

The Association are already planning to hold the 2022 AGM in Edinburgh, when we hope we can welcome you in person.
One of our Official Vets in the Westcountry, is also a very talented artist, and she has started producing a series of drawings of the life cycles of Parasites. The blog is called Wiscat Pereira and can be found here

2020 Annual General Meeting
This year’s Annual General Meeting has been brought forward to Saturday March 21st 2020, due to Easter being in the middle of April. Further details can be found under the events tab.
55th Annual Seminar
The dates for this year’s seminar are Friday 11th September to Sunday 13th September 2020. Provisional details of speakers and subjects will be added to the seminar page.

The AMI Council meets four times per year, in April, June,
September and December. The meetings cover a wide range of topics, including
the management of the Association and our work as Stakeholder’s for
consultations in both the UK and Europe.
Any member who wishes to raise a topic or point for
discussion, or to comment on matters published in The Meat Hygienist, is
invited to contact their Divisional Secretary. They will then present your
requests or comments to Council.
The Association of Meat Inspectors website is undergoing a refresh and rebuild. Content will be added when available. The appearance is also likely to change.
